Who's responsible

We are the "controller" of your personal data under UK data protection law. We keep what we collect to the minimum, because lots of our visitors are young.

What we collect and why

Visiting and downloading: the page or file, the website that linked you, your country (from our host), phone or computer, and a scrambled visitor code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you. No cookies and no IP addresses are stored for this. Why: to see what's popular and keep the site working (our legitimate interests). Kept for 13 months.

Accounts: if you sign in with Roblox or Google we keep the account id they give us, your username, display name and (Roblox only) profile picture. Never your email or password. From Google we don't show or keep your real name. Why: to run your account (contract). Kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Uploads: the files and details you submit, shown publicly with your username once approved. Why: to provide the service (contract). Kept until you delete them or they're removed.

Reports: the reason and any details you type, with a scrambled daily network code to stop duplicates. Why: keeping people safe (legitimate interests and legal duties). Kept up to 6 months.

Security: failed admin logins are counted against a scrambled network code for an hour. Why: protecting the site (legitimate interests).

Cookies

We set only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in (30 days, removed when you sign out) and one short-lived cookie (10 minutes) during sign-in. These don't need consent.

Ads: Google AdSense shows ads that pay for the site and may use cookies or similar technology. We ask Google for non-personalised ads. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent first through Google's consent message, and you can change your choice at any time. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Who we share with

Only the services that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Google (ads, and sign-in if you choose it) and Roblox (sign-in if you choose it). Some of them process data outside the UK under approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

Children

You must be 13 or older to make an account; under-18s need a parent or guardian's permission. Browsing and downloading don't need an account and collect no personal details. If you think a child under 13 has made an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email cubeburststudios@outlook.com; we'll reply within one month. You can delete your uploads yourself from your account page. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though we'd like the chance to fix it first.
